Since 2009, I have had the privilege of helping people on their path to wellness as a Registered Massage Therapist. In 2022, I began my journey as a Breathwork facilitator.
As I step in to these roles, I aim to create a welcoming space where I work with your body’s innate healing wisdom.
Whether your imbalances are derived from physical injury or emotional turmoil, my intention is to help your body, mind and soul move in to a state of balance and harmony. I understand that emotions, memories and traumas can be held physically in the body and my hope is to help you uncover those blockages as you move forward in the healing process.
It is an honour to have you entrust me with your challenges and one that I do not take lightly. I promise to help you to the best of my ability.
Judy is a graduate of the Registered Massage Therapy program at Langara College. With a life-long interest in human anatomy, Judy is pleased to be working in a profession that allows her to apply her knowledge in a practical way. She enjoys sharing her enthusiasm for learning with her patients in a way that supports, engages and encourages a collaboration that is uniquely tailored to each individual that she works with. Her treatment approach aims to facilitate her patient’s goals, whether that be increased ease of movement in daily activities, promoting relaxation, decreasing muscular tension and providing recommendations that patients can utilize at home to support self-care and prolong the positive effects of treatment. Judy’s treatments have a strong orthopedic approach using a combination of active and passive stretching, joint mobilization, therapeutic exercise blended with a focus on slow myofascial release and swedish massage techniques to provide a restorative impression to each treatment and to help you get back to feeling like yourself.
